lives in the dream.

Great picture! I'd really like to try my hand at waterfall photos. Any tips for me?

SJCT: I am far from being an expert, but I'd suggest two things: (1) use a neutral density filter to increase exposure time to get that "silky" look (how strong a filter depends on the speed of the water, but typically you want to get between 1/2 sec for relatively fast flow to a few seconds for slower flow; this is just trial and error...you can also crank up your aperture setting to f16, f22 to increase exposure time without an ND filter, but be careful not to go too far as diffraction effects set in); and (2) try to visualize the water flow as *one contiguous compositional element" (as a "thing" to use in your design. Most important: have fun!

Beautiful photo Andy. I love the use of the "All formations are transient" quote for this image....while the rocks erode away.

Breathtaking. Both the photo and the text. I like b/w photography anyway.

I just don't have a single word to describe this water fall's beauty and the poem's stanza.
